T1: Project Work - Design Folios

One of the main assessment methods in Design is project work. Projects are generally presented using Design Portfolios (folios). Sometimes Design Concept presentations are enhanced by oral, digital or video sections. The communication method is generally dictated by the type of design solution being presented.

E.g. A concept design for a web site would look better as a digital representation. A video walk or virtual reality model might communicate an interior design better than a diagram.

The PDF linked below shows what elements of the design process need to be present in a design folio. The layout of the folio should be personalised. Use Microsoft Publisher (set to A3 Landscape), to create your folio template.
