or through the identification of an opportunity...

e.g. The Teapots used in many Cafes have metal handles that conduct heat. Poor lid design often means that they spill hot tea on the table when pouring. (Design a modern tea pot that can be sold to cafes and restaurants)

Your solutions to the Design Problems you identify will be presented graphically using a range of Sketching and Drawing techniques.

These will include 2D and 3D illustrations, freehand sketching and drawings created using software including Photoshop, Illustrator and various CADD applications (Computer Aided Design and Drafting).
