Paper Sizes & Line StylesThere are many types of lines used in Graphics. Some are informal types like those used for freehand sketching and designing but asome have to conform to Australian Standards. These type of lines are generally used with CADD applications and are used for creating Final Design Drawings and Plans (Architectural, Mechanical etc). The most used ones are shown below.
In Australia we use Paper that conforms to the A Size Standard. The most common;ly used sizes is A4 and that is used for things like formal Letters and Reports. The diagram below shows you how the page sizes relate to one another. Remember that paper can be used either in Landscape or Portrait views.
